China’s national legislature, the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress (NPCSC), is soliciting public comment on the following six bills through November 23, 2023. The NPCSC also reviewed a draft Tariff Law [关税法] at its latest session, but did not release it for public comment today.

To submit comment online, please refer to this guide. The “职业” (Occupations) dropdown menu for the draft amendment to the Charity Law includes these non-default options: “国家机关及其工作人员” (state organs and their employees); “慈善组织及其工作人员” (charitable organizations and their employees); “信托公司及其工作人员” (trust companies and their employees); “其他慈善相关从业人员” (other persons engaged in charity-related activities); “捐赠人” (donors); “受益人” (beneficiaries); and “其他” (other).
