The NPC Standing Committee (NPCSC) is soliciting public comments on the following six bills through November 19, 2020:

English translations will be provided if and when available. All explanatory documents are in Chinese. The NPCSC also reviewed a second draft of the Veterans Support Law [退役军人保障法] and a draft Coast Guard Law [海警法] at last week’s session, but did not also release them for public comments today.
To submit comments online, please refer to this guide. The “Occupations” [职业] dropdown menu for the following three laws includes non-default options:
- Administrative Penalties Law revision: “governmental organs and their employees” [政府机关及其工作人员]; “local people’s congresses and their employees” [地方人大机关及其工作人员]; “other state organs and their employees” [其他国家机关及其工作人员]; “lawyers” [律师]; “experts and scholars” [专家学者]; “businesses and their employees” [企业及从业人员]; and “others” [其他].
- National Defense Law revision: “state organs and their employees” [国家机关及其工作人员], “servicemembers in active duty” [现役军人], “veterans” [退役军人], “teaching and research personnel” [教学科研人员], and “other” [其他].
- Wild Animals Protection Law revision: “state organs and their employees” [国家机关及其工作人员], “public institutions or social groups and their employees” [事业单位、社会团体及其工作人员], “environmental workers” [环保工作者], “wildlife farmers” [野生动物养殖户]; “non-governmental institutions” [非政府组织], and “other” [其他].
